AGPL 3.0 License​

TelegramMediaRelayBot is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL 3.0). This means you are free to use, modify, and distribute the bot, but under certain conditions.

🚫 What is Prohibited:​

  1. Closing the Source Code:

    • If you make changes to the bot's code, you are required to open-source your modifications.

  2. Distribution Without Source Code:

    • It is prohibited to distribute compiled versions of the bot without providing the source code.

  3. Ignoring Copyright Notices:

    • You cannot remove or alter copyright notices and license information in the source code.

  4. Use in Proprietary Software:

    • It is forbidden to include the bot's code in closed-source software.

    • You can use the bot for any purpose, including commercial use.

  2. Modification and Distribution:

I chose AGPL 3.0 to ensure, as much as possible, that the bot's code remains open and free for everyone. It also protects my rights as a developer and the community, promoting the development of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software).
